Every Friday I like to share with you a resource that I feel will help you to Maximize Possibility in your professional life and improve your performance at work. This week I've got an exciting new resource that I think you will really enjoy. Check it out!
The Resource: Halogen Software's Raging Debates in HR
What It Is: Raging Debates in HR is an interactive online forum where a highly respected collection of HR and Talent Management gurus weigh in on some of the hottest issues facing the industry today.
The way it works is that a question is posed to the panel and each member is given the opportunity to share their thoughts and views on the matter while the audience is able to comment on their responses and vote based on how much they agree or disagree with their view on the subject.
A pretty cool approach, if you ask me...
Why You Should Check It Out: I really like the format that Halogen has put together for this resource. It is like sitting in on a minimally moderated panel of HR and talent management gurus as they take on some of the most important topics and issues that today's HR and talent management professionals face everyday.
The collection of industry players is quite impressive and includes some of my favorite bloggers and thought leaders like Lance Huan of the Rehaul blog, Laurie Ruettimann - Punk Rock HR Blogger, Kris Dunn - the HR Capitalist, and Peter Cappelli of the Wharton School of Business. It is not very often that such a great collection of industry leaders gather to put their minds together on the challenges and opportunities facing their profession - let alone in such collaborative and interactive environment like the one Halogen has created!
If you are wondering where today's leaders in the fields of human resources and talent management stand on a particular issue that you or your organization might be facing, head over to Halogen Software's Raging Debates in HR and see if they've weighed in on the issues that matter most to you. I am confident that you will find their opinions both relevant and eye opening!
