Every week I like to feature a resource that I feel will help you Maximize Possibility in your organization and your life at work. This week I would like to feature an excellent collection of online resources from one of my favorite business minds: Marshall Goldsmith.
The Resource: The Marshall Goldsmith Library
What it Covers: The Marshall Goldsmith Library is a powerful online collection of articles and other resources from one of the most influential business thinkers of our time. On this site you will find a wide variety of resources including research articles, white papers, podcasts, blog posts, audio and video clips, and media interviews and appearances.
At the Goldsmith Library, you'll also find an organized archive of articles that Marshall has written for a number of well respected publications including Fast Company, Business Week, Harvard Business Online, The Huffington Post, and Talent Management Magazine.
You can even sign up for Leading News - his free monthly newsletter aimed at helping successful leaders become even more successful.
Why You Should Check it Out: To put it bluntly, Goldsmith's work in the field of leadership and leadership development is nothing less than legendary.
As the author of over 27 books (and counting) on leadership, employee coaching, succession planning, and talent management, Goldsmith has proved his mettle time and time again as one of the most respected business writers of our time. Whenever I think of leadership, Marshall Goldsmith is always one of the first names that come to mind.
Goldsmith has done a really nice job of organizing many years worth of leadership development materials in an easy to use website that makes accessing all his great content a breeze. This is something you don't see from a lot of business authors and really demonstrates Goldsmith's breadth of work and his commitment to producing more great leaders in the world.
I also love that Marshall doesn't accept "good enough" and recognizes that success is not a static destination, but rather an evolutionary process that one can only realize through continual learning and personal/professional development. In other words (Goldsmith's) What Got You Here, Won't Get You There.
If you are looking for an infusion of leadership insight, you have got to check out the Marshall Goldsmith Library. I promise you won't be disappointed!
